LiteRaS (Allographic LITERacy: Arabic texts in non-Arabic Script across Middle Eastern Manuscript Tradition) is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowship project hosted at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
The project investigates Arabic texts written in non-Arabic scripts across the manuscript traditions of the Middle East. By combining philological analysis with digital humanities tools, LiteRaS aims to build an open-access digital archive of allographic manuscripts and contribute to a deeper understanding of multilingual and multiscriptural practices in the medieval Middle East.
